Our staff has experience with a wide variety of ink.
Plastisol Ink:
-
Plastisol is the most common ink used in commercial garments.
-
This ink has good color opacity on dark garments.
-
Plastisol ink doesn’t absorb into the fabric as well as water-based ink and prints will have a heavier “hand” than something embellished with a water-based or water-based discharge process.
Water-based Ink:
-
Water-based ink is the most common ink used at Wet House and most preferred by our customers.
-
Water-based ink penetrates the fabric more than plastisol inks and create a much softer feel.
-
Our staff will custom make any color our clients desire.
Discharge Ink:
-
Discharge screen printing is a rare specialty ink that Wet House offers.
-
Discharge is a screen printing method that essentially bleaches the color from a shirt.
-
This results in a print that is soft and flush with the surface of the shirt.
-
Unlike Plastisol ink printed on the surface of your garment discharge is a process by which we’re eliminating the dye from the shirt in the print area thus making it part of the shirt. This is perfect for many applications, but often a soft print is desired and that is where water based and discharge are perfect.
-
Rather then stacking ink up on top of the shirt discharge ink changes the actual color of the fabric.
